In Jura the customary dates differ by district: in the Delémont district (including Moutier) notice can be given for the end of any month; for Porrentruy and the Franches-Montagnes the sources disagree. A joint standard lease with the dates 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December is widely used. The notice dates in your lease take precedence over customary dates; the notice period for flats is at least three months (Art. 266c CO).

The termination dates in your lease always take precedence. For flats the notice period is at least three months (Art. 266c OR).
For a lease in Delémont without its own termination dates, our calculator currently works with 31.03. · 30.06. · 30.09. The next reachable date: send the request by 26.12.2026, and the lower rent applies from 01.04.2027.
Where termination is possible at more dates, we deliberately use a conservative subset so that no request is sent too late.
Commissions de conciliation en matière de bail (rental conciliation commissions)
Three commissions, one per district: Delémont (also for Moutier, Hôtel de Ville), Porrentruy (Rue de la Roche-de-Mars 5) and Franches-Montagnes (Le Bémont). They sit with tenant and landlord representatives and give free information by phone. Conciliation in tenancy matters is free of charge (Art. 113(2)(c) Swiss Civil Procedure Code).
