In the canton of Appenzell Outer Rhodes, termination at the end of any month is customary, except on 31 December. Termination dates stated in the lease take precedence over customary dates. The notice period for flats is at least three months (Art. 266c CO).

Where termination is possible at more dates, we deliberately use a conservative subset so that no request is sent too late.
Conciliation office for tenancy and non-agricultural leases
One cantonal conciliation office in Trogen covers all rented property in the canton and also offers free legal information by phone. The request is filed on the form in duplicate, with the facts, the claims and supporting documents. Conciliation proceedings in tenancy matters are free of charge (Art. 113 CPC).
