In the canton of Uri, termination at the end of any month is customary, except on 31 December. Termination dates stated in the lease take precedence over customary dates. The notice period for flats is at least three months (Art. 266c CO).

Where termination is possible at more dates, we deliberately use a conservative subset so that no request is sent too late.
Uri conciliation authority
The canton of Uri has a single cantonal conciliation authority in Altdorf. For disputes over residential and commercial leases it is composed on a parity basis; it provides templates and information on the procedure. Conciliation proceedings in tenancy matters are free of charge (Art. 113 CPC).
