In the canton of Glarus, termination at the end of any month is customary. Termination dates stated in the lease take precedence over customary dates. The notice period for flats is at least three months (Art. 266c CO).

Glarus cantonal conciliation authority
One cantonal conciliation authority in Glarus covers the whole canton; in tenancy matters it sits as a parity panel with a chair and landlord and tenant representatives. The request is filed on paper, signed, as a simple letter or on the official form; submissions by email are not valid. Conciliation proceedings in tenancy matters are free of charge (Art. 113 CPC).
